This young active family are looking for a caring and energetic big sibling who likes children and will fit to their busy lifestyle. They are well travelled, love the outdoors and going to the beach house. This family lives in a 5 acre block in rural New Zealand.
Their son (1) is an energetic, mischievous boy who is always on the go and looking for new things to entertain him. He has a love for water and play, loves going on walks and exploring the world around him.
They are looking for someone who is flexible, kind, honest, energetic, caring, fun, creative, attentive and easy going. They consider an au pair as part of the family, which means the house hold duties and chores are shared together. You must have willingness to help and get things done, so they can spend more time as a family.
Your typical duties would be child related work, changing nappies, light housework, pick and drop off their son, preparing meals and taking him out for walks. Ideally they are looking for someone for 9 or 12 months and you must have 2 years driving experience.
This family live in the countryside (rural) NZ, Wairarapa and are not near any shops or amenities, but it is only 15 min drive away to the nearest town. It's a quiet lifestyle for the most part, however there will be a car for your personal use in your personal time so will be able to go into town to catch up with others, movies, gym or other things in your spare time. There are more au pairs in the area every year and one just up the road that starts in July. The area is known for its wine production and farming. This family also owns a dog, chicken and a couple of lambs.
Ideally, you’ll have nanny, babysitting, teaching or coaching experiences or similar to join this family.
