Australian Visa

To be eligible for the grant of a Working Holiday Visa you must:
  • Be aged between 18 and 30
  • Hold a valid passport
  • Not have any dependent children
  • Never previously have entered Australia on a Working Holiday Visa
  • Meet health and character requirements
  • Apply from outside for Australia
  • Be outside Australia at the time visa grant
  • Citizens of The Republic of Korea, Malta, Germany and Republic of Cyprus must apply from their home country to Australia and all other eligible citizens can apply from anywhere outside Australia
  • Have sufficient funds for a return or onward fare
  • Be able to provide $5000 for the initial stage of your holiday (Bank Statement or Savings Account)

On a Working Holiday Visa you can do any kind of work in Australia and may work with the same employer for up to six months. The six month work limitation applies to full-time, casual or shift work.
